What a fabulous excuse to get your walking boots on! Sign up for the 2026 One Special Walk on Friday 25 September and join us for a fantastic new 19-mile West London route that kicks off and finishes at Fulham Football club, taking in the sights of Twickenham Stadium, Richmond Park, Kew Gardens and the River Thames.

And if you’re not quite ready for the full 19 miles, no problem! We also have a shorter eight mile option available for anyone who prefers a breezier stroll, as well as a Virtual Walk for anyone who can’t get to London on the day.
We’re asking you to raise £200, that’s just over £10 for every mile walked. And thanks to our event sponsors, 100% of your vital fundraising will go straight towards our work putting fun and inclusion back into the lives of physically disabled people right across the world.
One Special Walk is part of our One Special Day fundraising event, and last year you walked yourselves to a staggering total of £140,000 to bring inclusion and independence to people with physical disabilities across the world.
We’d love you to help us raise £100,000 through One Special Walk, which is the flagship event in our annual One Special Day fundraising campaign.
Your entry fee of £25 (£15 for the shorter route) includes:
- A place to take part in One Special Walk 2025 on Friday 25 September.
- A One Special Walk branded t-shirt.
- Breakfast and lunch stops on the route.
- A start line celebration to set you off with a bang.
- Brand new, exciting game-related entertainment to keep you energised.

- Resources, tips and tricks to help you with your fundraising and training for the walk.

Everyone who hits their fundraising target will receive an exclusive SpecialEffect One Special Walk 2026 pin badge.
