A huge One Special Day thank you to nDreams

As momentum for One Special Day 2019 gathers, with nearly 50 games industry partners pledged to support the event so far, our Nick took a trip to Farnborough to tell founding One Special Day partners nDreams what their terrific support means to disabled gamers.

nDreams, one of the UK’s top dedicated VR developers who won the E3 Best VR Game of 2019 earlier in the year with Phantom:Covert Ops, are once again mobilising in force to make 4th October 2019 truly One Special Day.

To a packed house, Nick talked through what nDreams support is helping to achieve in helping people with disabilities join in the fun and inclusion of video games. He also unveiled an exciting new project that Dr Mick Donegan, Founder and CEO of SpecialEffect, is working on that enables young people with leukaemia to ‘virtually’ attend school and interact with teachers and classmates through a robot. You’ll learn more about our BubbleBusters project in future One Special Day updates. Watch this space.

We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Patrick and Tamsin O’Lauanaigh, Vikki and everyone at nDreams for their awesome welcome and support of our work through One Special Day. Thanks guys!
